Country Manager – Eswatini

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Country Manager to lead Swoop’s operations in Eswatini. Based in Mbabane, you will own the P&L, drive growth across food delivery and new verticals, and work closely with the international leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the country budget, track revenue, costs and profitability, and report performance to the global team.
• Develop and execute local marketing, store acquisition and driver operations strategies to scale orders, GMV and active users.
• Build and nurture relationships with restaurants, retailers and other partners, negotiating commercial terms and ensuring long‑term collaboration.
• Lead and develop cross‑functional local teams (marketing, account management, logistics) fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Identify and pilot new services such as groceries or ride‑hailing, providing data‑driven recommendations for expansion.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2C management experience in food delivery, ride‑hailing or similar marketplace platforms.
• Proven ability to operate in a fast‑changing startup environment with high ownership.
• Excellent communication in English; knowledge of Siswati or other local languages is a plus.
• University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field (optional for exceptional candidates).
