Supply Chain Coordinator (Level 2)

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator-2 will manage the supply chain function for World Vision programs, ensuring timely procurement, delivery, and cost‑effective sourcing to support vulnerable children across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and apply department business requirements in daily procurement activities.
• Advise internal customers on modifications to original requests and obtain necessary approvals.
• Facilitate timely resolution of issues that could affect requestors and community needs.
• Identify alternative supply sources for materials or services not covered by existing contracts.
• Coordinate with Logistics to ensure safe delivery and receipt of ordered materials.
• Resolve conflicts with deliveries and suppliers.
• Execute market assessments, supplier pre‑qualification, and manage RFQ/RFP processes for assigned categories.
• Lead negotiations, prepare procurement committee submissions, and facilitate purchasing committee meetings.
• Maintain master data for contracts, monitor contract renewals or retenders, and ensure supplier performance aligns with contractual conditions.

Required profile

• Ability to understand and adhere to business procurement requirements.
• Experience in advising internal customers and obtaining approvals for changes.
• Proven capability to resolve delivery and supplier conflicts.
• Experience conducting market assessments and supplier pre‑qualification.
• Strong coordination skills with logistics and procurement teams.
